Why Agape Pixs ?
My Love for photography started a long time ago. I find true joy in capturing a beautiful landscapes or a precious family moment, or a silly animal at the zoo, but my heart and passion is with special needs photography. Up until now, photography has been a hobby and making it my career was just a dream. My love for photography and my passion for those with special needs became magically meshed together by the perfect timing and guidance of the word of God spoken by our Pastor on a Sunday morning service titled “Finding My Purpose” ( January 18 2015)

I am blessed to be a mom of three beautiful girls; I am also a stepmother, and this is where my true love and understanding for special needs children began. My step son is special needs, with a mile 
long list of what is “wrong” with him or why he isn’t “normal” in our house we do not look at him like he is any different than our other children. Every child is a gift from God and is here to impact and make a difference in some way, hand crafted by our creator. Being a fully involved step-mom of a severely disabled child has brought an entire new aspect and view to what use to be simple, we can’t just call up the local photography studio and book an appointment, let’s face it packing up everything you need or could need, special needs kiddos or not, that’s enough stress in itself !!!
I know the difficulty and patience it takes to capture “the picture” their eyes focused, their head up, less medical equipment as possible, sitting up tall and I am committed to making these pictures reality for families. I know that kids do not usually take pictures non-stop for an hour they need a break to let loose and be kids. I understand that and allow for this in our sessions.
At Agape Pixs I strive not to just take your pictures but to get to know you, your child, and your family this allows me to capture the best picture. I will only use equipment suitable for your child and or family (props, lighting,flash no flash). I know first hand that patience and a calm environment are crucial not just in life it self but also while capturing the true personality through photography. I want to capture each and every child in a picture that shows who they are you can almost hear them laughing when you see the picture.
